Wednesday 4th July
Genealogy day: 9.30am- 4.00pm
Beaufort Hotel: Hosted by Bruce MacLennan with celebrity speakers.

Thursday 5th July:
Highland Archives Tour: 12.00-4.00 PM
For those who wish to further their Ancestry Research The Highland Archives have set aside an afternoon tour to show us what the archives have to offer. There will be relevant material for Clan Maclennan to be viewed in the archive search room. They will have a case study showing the different types of archive material and how they were accessed. Their staff will be there to help and advise anyone who has any questions. The Highland Archive Centre is in a fairly central location and is an attractive 15-30minute walk from the Beaufort Hotel. An afternoon where you may wish to further your own research
A one on one session on unlocking your family research. This will NO longer be at either the Hotel or the Highland Archives. The venue is still to be arranged. There will be NO FEE for this and it will be OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. Please bring along any queries you may have.

An opportunity to collect your name badge, confirm bookings, pay for any of the events if you have not already done so. (All events must be paid in advance of event) .Tickets can be collected at this time. Browse our clan shop “Scotclans “which will be set up for the next few days and off course receive a Very Warm Welcome from the Scottish Committee.

6.00pm: Bus Departs Beaufort Hotel for Dores stopping at Tesco’s supermarket for anyone wishing to purchase refreshments. No drink will be sold at the hall.
6.30pm: Dores Inn for photo shoot and drinks (at own cost) Walk up to Dores Hall.
7.30pm: Ceilidh in Dores Hall.
11.30pm: Bus departs Dores to return to Beaufort Hotel.

10.00 am Bus Departs from Beaufort Hotel
Discover a living history museum set in stunning surroundings, where you can step back in time to experience over 250 years of Highland history.
Special tour of Blackhouse Village featured in the series Outlander.
This Includes the Bus and Donation to get in.
We will also be organising to have a meal there which will incur an additional cost.
Please indicate if you are interested in booking a meal as we will need to inform the Museum of numbers.
There is lots to do there and plenty of free time to do as you wish.
